Because our society has not yet learned to accept disabilities gracefully, parents are distraught when they are told that their child has one. We have tried and tried to help parents deal with the stress of discovering their child has autism and then the stress of coping with the demands the disability places on their time and money, but even with support, parents inevitably go through some tough times. This project is an attempt to create awareness of Autism & help autistic people to involve our society & let them discover Autism as a difference; to make all people know what is Autism; to share autistic people their feelings, their minds & lives.
We try to create an “Autistic Friendly Community” through creating an area in all places for autistic people “hotels, restaurants, malls , transportation,…..ect” to serve this people & to help normal people to discover their world in order to accept their difference & help them if they need help as a lot of people “especially at developed countries” don’t know much about what is Autism, & if they meet one of autistic people they staring at him like he is from another planet.
In order to reach this target we need to create a general awareness of Autism, through mass media, conferences, seminars, website offers a free service to parents, autistic people, researchers & people who might be concern with Autism, events.
Autism Spectrum Disorder is a pervasive developmental disorder, affecting how a child Functions in several areas, including speech, social skills and behavior. It affects about 1 in 110 and the number of affected children appears to be rising, even as much as four times since 1975. Fortunately, there is treatment available that can make a huge difference in the lives of these children and adults. Unfortunately, the treatment is very expensive, and rarely covered by insurance.
